Blackfish and sea bass fishing somewhat consistent over the last couple of weeks. Sea bass up to 3.5 pounds and blackfish up to 7 lbs. Plenty of action with many short fish, porgies and triggerfish mixed in.

September inshore tuna trip very good with a dozen false albacore and a few monster bluefish.
Daytime striped bass and blue fishing continues to be good with fish into the mid teens. Bottom fishing very good with limits of sea bass to 4 pounds and porgies up to 2.5 pounds.
Very good mixed bag fishing with sea bass, striped bass, bluefish and porgies.
Solid day trips, fishing the sound and bay, with families catching Black Sea bass, weakfish and porgies. Keeping enough for dinners and releasing the rest.
Good fishing on offshore and inshore charters. Bluefin tuna to 57″, daytime striped bass up to 22 lbs., sea bass up to 3.5 lbs and bluefish to the mid teens.
Very good mixed bag (weakfish, fluke, scup and kingfish) fishing for mid summer up in the Peconics.
Daytime fishing continues to be very good with striped bass into the mid teens and quality sea bass up to four pounds.
Consistent day and night fishing for the last week and a half.
Solid daytime striped bass fishing for the last week with fish to 23 pounds. Full boat limits every trip with some days catching triple limits. Full boat limit of daytime striped bass to 24 pounds with a handful of sea bass.
